This girl has big plans for herself: to become a ballerina! Oh, how I dreaded this "stage" (it is a stage, isn't it? and it WILL go away?!?!?!) Of course, I still have hope: princess, fairy, piano player and doctor are still in the pile so it could go either way! I put my vote on the fairy gig...who wouldn't want to be the mother of a fairy???

I know, I know...black and white is not everybody's favourite, especially not in the kids' room. Am I right? I must confess I love black and white EVEN in the kids' room, but I am pretty sure even those who don't like it, won't have anything against Roxy Marj's black and white creations! I mean, look at them! They are wonderful and creative and original and they take you to another world. A world of wonder and where anything and everything is possible. In love! And you?

After weeks of rain and terribly cold weather, the weather gods were on our side last weekend, and the temperatures finally went up up up! It was sunny and warm, and we decided to drive to a lake near our city. K had so much fun! We really just enjoy looking at her, soaking up the sun and the summer fun. We went for a boat ride, had a picnic, went for a run (K biked along next to us...and I must say this little girl can bike! 12km!!!) ...then hit the playground and after we were sweaty enough, had a dip in the lake. Oh summer, we enjoy every minute of you!

Hi everyone, here is another of my favorite Etsy shops: UrbanNester. It seems as if the city of Provo, UT is the birthplace of creativity! I see more and more shops and small labels popping up from this area. Molly Kidd, the owner of UrbanNester, is from Provo and she makes and paints the glass or ceramic plates herself. The plates above are all glass, which makes them scratch and chip resistant and they are all hand drawn, thus all unique! She is now also making some pretty awesome tea towels!

There is a trend that some people love and some just plain hate: the low crotch pants. I must admit that I love it...on kids! I find my daughter just so cool in them, and above all it looks so comfy! You can see it on boys, on girls and even on babies and they come in all kids of material and prints. Tell me, are you a lover or a hater? And why?

 Hi guys! A few days ago I've attended a blogger conference ( The Hive ), and one of the things I brought home with me is that I can/could/should blog about personal things...I myself love such blogs and those are the first that I'll read from my feed. So here goes nothing, I will give it a try! Of course, as always...I would love your feedback!
These are just a few of our afternoon photos taken yesterday. It is rainy, windy and terribly cold, so we entertained ourselves with Celine Dion, some dancing and dolls. Where is summer? If anybody has seen it, please return it to its rightful owner: Europe!

This brand is right up my alley! How fun are these funky and original prints on these t-shirts and onesie? They are designed by the creative team at Swearhouse, Alice and Bart, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I really like the simple but very cool and creative designs, and the basic colours of the products would fit in well with our wardrobe. These are just three of my favourites but look into their Etsy shop for some more if you got curious!
